The 30 Best Restaurants on the Amalfi Coast, Town by Town
Thirty restaurants, six dining zones and one rule: choose the table that belongs to the day you are already having.
Last verified: 14 July 2026
The Amalfi Coast is one of the easiest places in Italy to eat expensively and still choose badly.
Not because the coast lacks good restaurants. Because the view is allowed to make too many decisions.
A famous terrace can survive on its address. A restaurant that appears close on a map can consume far more of the evening than expected. A table designed for a barefoot boat day can feel completely wrong after an afternoon dressed for Ravello.
This is why choosing a restaurant here is partly a question of food and partly a question of geography.
Positano rewards travellers willing to distinguish the centre from Montepertuso and Laurito. Praiano has some of the coast's strongest sunset and beach-day options. Amalfi and Atrani work differently from Ravello, while Cetara's fishing identity deserves more than a hurried stop between larger towns.
This is not a ranking from one to thirty. It is an edited map of thirty different reasons to reserve a table.
For planning the coast beyond dinner, begin with Holiday.it's Amalfi Coast holiday guide, where to stay on the Amalfi Coast and the Amalfi Coast itinerary.
How Holiday.it selected these restaurants: Established restaurants had to show a Google rating of 4.4 or higher when checked on 14 July 2026, together with a live 2026 website, reservation system, hotel dining page or recent seasonal activity. New Michelin-starred restaurants with a small review sample are identified clearly. Google ratings were used as an entry filter, not as an automatic ranking. Ratings, menus and seasonal schedules can change; confirm directly before travelling.
Inclusion is editorial. Sponsored relationships, should any exist, must be disclosed separately and must never determine selection or order.

Positano, Montepertuso and Laurito
Positano is not one dining district.
The centre is vertical, busy and dependent on steps. Montepertuso sits above it and requires a deliberate journey. Laurito belongs to the water and works best when treated as part of a beach day, not as an ordinary restaurant reservation.
These seven addresses solve seven different versions of Positano.
1. Zass
Michelin-starred · Il San Pietro · Destination dinner
Zass is the reservation for an evening in which the restaurant itself is the destination.
Set inside Il San Pietro di Positano, it combines a Michelin-starred kitchen with produce from the hotel's gardens and a dining room positioned above the coast. The hotel currently operates the restaurant during its 2026 season, with a formal dinner service and restrictions for very young children.
The tasting-menu format makes more sense than trying to compress the restaurant into a quick a-la-carte dinner. Come for the sequence, not merely for the view.
What to order: The seasonal tasting menu, particularly the courses that connect local fish with produce from the hotel gardens.
Best for: An anniversary, a significant celebration or one formal gastronomic evening during the trip.
Google rating when checked: 4.4
Address: Via Laurito 2, 84017 Positano
Phone: +39 089 875455
Current status: Michelin-starred and operating for the 2026 hotel season.
2. Casa Mele
Contemporary · Open kitchen · Food before theatre
Casa Mele is one of the most convincing answers to the request for a serious Positano dinner that does not rely entirely on the view.
The open kitchen shifts attention towards technique, produce and the rhythm of the menu. The food remains connected to Campania, but it is presented with more precision than the traditional seafood-and-pasta formula found across the centre.
It is particularly useful after several meals in which the scenery has done more work than the kitchen.
What to order: Choose the tasting route or build dinner around seasonal vegetables, local fish and handmade pasta.
Best for: Curious diners, couples and travellers who want the kitchen to remain the main event.
Google rating when checked: 4.7
Address: Via Guglielmo Marconi 76, 84017 Positano
Phone: +39 089 811364
Current status: Active official 2026 menu and reservation channels.
3. Da Vincenzo
Positano institution · Seafood and pasta · Broadly dependable
Da Vincenzo is the classic that survives a strict selection because it still provides a clear reason to book.
The menu covers the dishes many visitors actually want in Positano: seafood antipasti, pasta, vegetables and the daily catch. It is established without feeling like a museum piece and polished without forcing dinner into a formal tasting-menu structure.
The restaurant also works well for groups whose appetites do not all point in the same direction.
What to order: Seafood antipasti, handmade pasta and whichever fish is strongest that day.
Best for: A first Positano dinner, mixed groups and travellers wanting a recognisable local restaurant rather than an imported concept.
Google rating when checked: 4.5
Address: Viale Pasitea 172, 84017 Positano
Phone: +39 089 875128
Current status: Official site and current 2026 activity confirmed.
4. Il Ritrovo
Montepertuso · Family-run character · Worth leaving the centre
Il Ritrovo is not a convenient extension of the Positano centre. That is part of its value.
Located in Montepertuso, above the town, it offers a more spacious and locally grounded evening than many restaurants clustered around Positano's lower streets. The journey should be planned, but it produces a dinner that feels separate from the crowds below.
The menu moves through seafood, handmade pasta and regional dishes without losing the warmth of a family restaurant.
What to order: Ask about the daily pasta and catch rather than ordering entirely from photographs seen before arrival.
Best for: A deliberate dinner away from central Positano, families and returning visitors.
Google rating when checked: 4.6
Address: Piazza Cappella 3, Montepertuso
Phone: +39 089 875453
Current status: Official reservations and summer 2026 activity confirmed.
5. Casa e Bottega
Breakfast and lunch · Vegetables and juices · Walk-in only
Casa e Bottega appears because a complete restaurant guide must also solve the hours before dinner.
The room is bright, the food is vegetable-led and the menu offers a useful interruption from days built around fried seafood, pasta and long tasting menus. Breakfast, salads, juices and lighter lunch dishes make it one of Positano's most practical daytime addresses.
It does not currently operate like a conventional reservation-led dinner restaurant. The official schedule lists breakfast and lunch, with walk-in service.
What to order: Breakfast, a seasonal salad, vegetables and one of the fresh juices.
Best for: A healthy lunch, breakfast, solo travellers and the day after an ambitious dinner.
Google rating when checked: 4.6
Address: Via Pasitea 100, 84017 Positano
Phone: +39 089 875225
Current status: Breakfast and lunch service active in 2026; walk-in rather than conventional reservations.
6. La Taverna del Leone
Family classic · Michelin-selected · Laurito hillside
La Taverna del Leone has been operating since 1965 and has appeared in the Michelin Guide for years, but history is not the only reason it belongs here.
It occupies the useful middle ground between formal destination dining and an ordinary tourist restaurant. The cooking remains tied to local ingredients and recognisable Campanian dishes, while the setting above Laurito gives the evening a sense of separation from central Positano.
It serves both lunch and dinner during the current season.
What to order: Let the seasonal menu lead, with particular attention to pasta, vegetables and local fish.
Best for: A traditional dinner with polish, lunch away from the centre and travellers who value continuity.
Google rating when checked: 4.8
Address: Via Laurito 43, 84017 Positano
Phone: +39 089 811302
Current status: Michelin-selected and operating for lunch and dinner in 2026.
7. Da Adolfo
Beach lunch · Boat access · Positano ritual
Da Adolfo is not a normal restaurant reservation. It is a day plan.
Located at Laurito beach and traditionally reached from the water, it works when lunch, swimming and the journey form one continuous experience. Trying to treat it like an ordinary table between two tightly scheduled activities misses the point.
The food is direct and suited to the setting: mozzarella, seafood, pasta and fish without unnecessary ceremony.
What to order: Mozzarella grilled on lemon leaves, spaghetti with clams and the freshest available fish.
Best for: A boat or beach day, an unhurried lunch and visitors willing to let the afternoon remain unscheduled.
Google rating when checked: 4.4
Address: Via Laurito 40, 84017 Positano
Phone: +39 089 875022
Current status: Current 2026 reservation and seasonal activity confirmed.
Praiano
Praiano is often described as the quieter alternative to Positano. At dinner, that description is too simple.
It has a Michelin-starred hotel restaurant, serious independent kitchens and some of the coast's most convincing combinations of beach, boat access and sunset.
8. Un Piano nel Cielo
One Michelin star · Casa Angelina · Formal and precise
Un Piano nel Cielo sits at the top of Casa Angelina and offers Praiano's clearest fine-dining experience.
The restaurant holds one Michelin star and operates as a dinner destination rather than an incidental hotel dining room. The modern setting and tasting-menu structure make it suitable for guests looking for precision rather than rustic coastal familiarity.
It is an evening to reserve intentionally. Dinner begins after the beach-day version of Praiano has ended.
What to order: The current tasting menu and the wine pairing that best reflects Campania.
Best for: A formal dinner, a celebration and travellers staying in Praiano who do not want to cross the coast at night.
Google rating when checked: 4.5
Address: Via Gennaro Capriglione 147, 84010 Praiano
Phone: +39 089 8131333
Current status: Michelin-starred with active 2026 dinner reservations.
9. Kasai
Independent favourite · Seafood · Handmade pasta
Kasai is one of Praiano's most dependable answers when the table wants serious food without formal hotel choreography.
Its appeal lies in the combination of seafood, handmade pasta and a menu that remains recognisably southern Italian while allowing the kitchen some freedom. The restaurant has built a substantial body of positive public feedback rather than relying on one season of attention.
The setting is intimate enough for couples but the menu is generous enough for groups.
What to order: The day's fish, a handmade pasta and any seasonal special that the team recommends directly.
Best for: A food-led Praiano dinner, repeat visitors and diners who want substance without a tasting-menu commitment.
Google rating when checked: 4.6
Address: Via Umberto I 84, 84010 Praiano
Phone: +39 089 874108
Current status: Active official booking and current 2026 service information.
10. La Gavitella Restaurant & Beach
Beach club · Boat access · Daylight matters
La Gavitella belongs to the daytime coast.
The beach faces west, giving the restaurant and club a different relationship with afternoon light and sunset from many eastern-facing coastal addresses. The official 2026 season runs from 14 May to 4 October, with lunch and beach-day service supported by boat access.
Book it because the table is part of a full day, not because you need one more formal dinner.
What to order: Seafood, local pasta and dishes that keep lunch compatible with swimming and the afternoon ahead.
Best for: A beach day, arrival by boat, a long lunch and sunset-oriented travellers.
Google rating when checked: 4.4
Address: Via Gavitella 1, 84010 Praiano
Phone: +39 350 5821514
Current status: Official 2026 season confirmed from 14 May to 4 October.
11. Il Pirata
Marina di Praia · Waterfront dinner · Established favourite
Il Pirata sits at Marina di Praia, one of those locations where the physical setting and the restaurant are difficult to separate.
The kitchen focuses on seafood, pasta and coastal dishes that suit the water immediately outside. It can work for lunch, but the enclosed atmosphere of Marina di Praia after dark gives dinner a different character from the more open terraces higher above the coast.
The restaurant has a substantial volume of public reviews and remains above the selection threshold.
What to order: Seafood antipasti, pasta with the day's catch and simply prepared fish.
Best for: Marina di Praia, a waterside dinner and guests staying nearby.
Google rating when checked: 4.4
Address: Via Terramare, Marina di Praia
Phone: +39 089 874377
Current status: Official current restaurant information and 2026 activity confirmed.
Furore and Conca dei Marini
This part of the coast rewards travellers who stop treating every meal as an extension of Positano or Amalfi.
Furore offers wine, altitude and one of the area's newest Michelin stories. Conca dei Marini adds traditional cooking and small beaches that are often easier to understand from the water than from the road.
12. Bluh Furore
One Michelin star · New-generation cooking · Small review sample
Bluh Furore is the one restaurant in this guide whose Google rating must be read with caution.
It holds a Michelin star and reopened for the 2026 season in April, but its public Google sample remained very small when checked. The high rating is therefore not treated as established consensus.
The restaurant earns inclusion through the combination of Michelin recognition, a current 2026 operation and a kitchen ambitious enough to make Furore the destination rather than a stop between better-known towns.
What to order: The tasting menu. This is not the address to reduce to one famous dish.
Best for: Michelin-focused travellers, a quiet destination dinner and guests interested in the coast's newer gastronomic generation.
Google rating when checked: 4.8, based on only eight reviews
Address: Via dell'Amore 2, 84010 Furore
Phone: +39 089 93573
Current status: Michelin-starred and reopened for the 2026 season on 22 April.
13. Baccofurore
Furore wine country · Michelin-selected · Local identity
Baccofurore is a reminder that the Amalfi Coast also rises into vineyards, terraces and agricultural land.
The restaurant is Michelin-selected and offers a more grounded expression of the area than the formal coastal dining rooms below. Furore wine belongs naturally at the table, and the setting rewards visitors who understand the meal as part of an inland detour.
This is where regional ingredients and the territory's wine culture should guide the order.
What to order: Local pasta, country dishes and a bottle produced in or around Furore.
Best for: Wine travellers, lunch or dinner away from the coast road and visitors seeking a stronger sense of place.
Google rating when checked: 4.5
Address: Via Giovanni Battista Lama 9, 84010 Furore
Phone: +39 089 830360
Current status: Included in the current Michelin selection with active restaurant information.
14. Le Bonta del Capo
Conca dei Marini · Broad local menu · Strong public consensus
Le Bonta del Capo is not a rarefied tasting room. Its value lies in being broadly useful without becoming generic.
The menu crosses traditional Campanian cooking, seafood, meat, vegetables and pizza, making it suitable for families and larger groups. Its unusually strong rating is supported by a large number of reviews, not a handful of opening-week impressions.
The position above Conca dei Marini also makes it an effective alternative to travelling towards Amalfi or Positano for every dinner.
What to order: Local vegetables, pasta and whichever fish or meat dish is strongest that day.
Best for: Families, mixed appetites, groups and an unfussy dinner around Conca dei Marini.
Google rating when checked: 4.8
Address: Via I Maggio 14, 84010 Conca dei Marini
Phone: +39 089 831515
Current status: Official restaurant channels and current service information active.
15. Zeffiro Sereno
Reached from the sea · Small beach · Lunch, not performance
Zeffiro Sereno is the kind of address that turns a generic "best restaurants" article into a genuinely useful coast guide.
Located at Spiaggia La Vite and reached most naturally from the water, it offers a small-scale lunch experience rather than a highly designed beach-club production. The current operation is daytime-led, making it suitable for boats and swimmers rather than travellers trying to force it into an evening itinerary.
The setting should remain the reason for going. Keep the order simple.
What to order: The catch of the day, pasta and whatever the kitchen recommends based on the morning's supply.
Best for: A quiet boat lunch, swimming and travellers avoiding the coast's larger beach clubs.
Google rating when checked: 4.6
Address: Spiaggia La Vite, Conca dei Marini
Phone: +39 366 7352527
Current status: Active for the 2026 season with access from the sea.
Amalfi and Atrani
Amalfi is the coast's practical centre, but that does not make every restaurant central in spirit.
Its strongest options range from two Michelin-starred dining rooms to a historic institution and a working agricultural project hidden inland. Atrani, a few minutes away geographically but distinct in atmosphere, contributes one of the area's most reliable seafood restaurants.
16. Glicine
One Michelin star · Hotel Santa Caterina · Refined coastal cooking
Glicine is the formal destination restaurant at Hotel Santa Caterina.
It holds one Michelin star and uses the hotel's relationship with the coast, its gardens and regional produce to construct a polished tasting experience. The evening is more controlled and quieter than dining in Amalfi's busy centre.
This is a restaurant for guests who want hotel formality to enhance the dinner rather than disappear from it.
What to order: The tasting menu, particularly the courses built around local seafood and Campanian ingredients.
Best for: A luxury hotel evening, a celebration and travellers staying between Amalfi and the western coast.
Google rating when checked: Approximately 4.5
Address: Via Mauro Comite 9, 84011 Amalfi
Phone: +39 089 871012
Current status: Michelin-starred with current official dining and booking pages.
17. Sensi
One Michelin star · Central Amalfi · Contemporary
Sensi brings Michelin-starred cooking closer to the centre of Amalfi.
The restaurant resumed its 2026 service in April and currently offers both lunch and dinner on most operating days. That flexibility makes it especially useful for travellers who want a serious meal without committing to a remote hotel or a late return along the coast road.
The cooking is contemporary but rooted in the region, with enough precision to justify reserving it as the day's principal meal.
What to order: The tasting menu or the shortest route that still allows the kitchen to establish a progression.
Best for: A Michelin meal within Amalfi, a special lunch and guests without private transport.
Google rating when checked: 4.6
Address: Via Pietro Comite 4, 84011 Amalfi
Phone: +39 089 871183
Current status: Michelin-starred and operating for lunch and dinner during the 2026 season.
18. La Caravella dal 1959
Historic Michelin star · Amalfi institution · Living history
La Caravella is one of the few famous names included because its history, current status and rating all survive the filter.
Opened in 1959, it became the first restaurant in southern Italy to receive a Michelin star. The restaurant remains Michelin-starred today, making it more than a nostalgic inclusion.
The dining room, ceramics and service carry a formality that belongs to another era, but the restaurant should still be approached as a current gastronomic address rather than a monument.
What to order: The heritage or tasting route, with particular attention to the dessert and pastry work noted by Michelin.
Best for: Culinary history, a formal Amalfi dinner and travellers interested in institutions that remain operational.
Google rating when checked: 4.4
Address: Via Matteo Camera 12, 84011 Amalfi
Phone: +39 089 871029
Current status: Michelin-starred with active 2026 reservations.
19. Agricola Fore Porta
Farm kitchen · Valle delle Ferriere · The inland discovery
Agricola Fore Porta is the restaurant to choose when the coast has begun to feel like an uninterrupted sequence of terraces and seafood.
Located inland from Amalfi, along the route towards the Valle delle Ferriere, it is tied to agricultural production and seasonal ingredients. The journey changes the rhythm of the day before the meal begins.
This is not a luxury restaurant in the conventional sense. It is a luxury of access, land and food that has not travelled far.
What to order: Whatever is coming from the farm and surrounding area that week. Do not arrive demanding a fixed signature dish.
Best for: A rural lunch, hikers, vegetable-led cooking and travellers prepared to leave the waterfront behind.
Google rating when checked: 4.8
Address: Via Paradiso 22, Amalfi
Phone: +39 339 2436450
Current status: Official operation and recent 2026 activity confirmed.
20. A' Paranza
Atrani · Michelin-selected · Seafood specialist
A' Paranza gives Atrani a restaurant strong enough to justify booking it deliberately rather than treating the village as an extension of Amalfi.
The restaurant is included in the Michelin Guide and has built its identity around seafood, pasta and the daily catch. Its setting is less performative than the coast's major hotel dining rooms, allowing the meal to feel tied to the village rather than separated from it.
Atrani's compact geography also makes dinner easier for travellers already staying nearby.
What to order: Seafood antipasti, pasta and the best fish available that day.
Best for: A seafood dinner, Atrani-based travellers and visitors who want Michelin recognition without hotel formality.
Google rating when checked: 4.5
Address: Via Traversa Dragone 1, 84010 Atrani
Phone: +39 089 871840
Current status: Michelin-selected with active 2026 service information.
Ravello and Scala
Ravello is built around elevation, gardens and hotel terraces. That makes it exceptionally beautiful and unusually vulnerable to restaurants whose location overwhelms the food.
The strongest list therefore needs both the polished hotel experience and tables that provide a reason to leave it.
21. Mimi Ristorante Pizzeria
Ravello favourite · Pizza and local dishes · Relaxed
Mimi is the answer when Ravello needs to become less formal.
The restaurant and pizzeria offers a broad local menu in a setting that works for families, couples and visitors who have already experienced the town's hotel dining rooms. Pizza is part of the reason to go, not a concession attached to a larger restaurant.
Its rating remains strong across a meaningful body of public feedback.
What to order: Pizza, local antipasti and whichever regional dish the kitchen recommends that day.
Best for: Families, a casual Ravello dinner and guests who do not want another white-tablecloth evening.
Google rating when checked: Approximately 4.5
Address: Via San Francesco 12, 84010 Ravello
Phone: +39 089 857134
Current status: Official restaurant information and current 2026 activity confirmed.
22. Il Pantaleone
Caruso, a Belmond Hotel · Elevated luxury · Formal setting
Il Pantaleone represents the grand-hotel version of Ravello.
Located at Caruso, a Belmond Hotel, it offers a carefully staged dinner within one of the coast's best-known properties. The setting, service and view are integral to the experience; this is not the table to book when the group wants informality.
The current hotel dining information confirms evening service during the 2026 season.
What to order: Seasonal Campanian dishes, using the hotel team's current recommendations rather than searching for a permanent signature.
Best for: A formal Ravello evening, luxury-hotel service and celebrations where the setting matters.
Google rating when checked: 4.5
Address: Piazza San Giovanni del Toro 2, 84010 Ravello
Phone: +39 089 858801
Current status: Active official 2026 dinner service at Caruso.
23. Trattoria Da Lorenzo
Scala · Michelin-selected · Seafood above the coast
Da Lorenzo sits in Scala, across the valley from Ravello, and provides one of the area's most useful reasons to cross away from the major hotel terraces.
The restaurant is Michelin-selected and known for seafood and pasta presented in a traditional, direct manner. Its appeal is not novelty. It is the ability to eat well in a quieter town while looking back towards the version of Ravello that most visitors never leave.
The restaurant currently observes a weekly closing day, so reservations should be checked directly.
What to order: Seafood antipasti, pasta and the freshest fish available.
Best for: A quieter dinner, Michelin-minded travellers and visitors staying in Scala or Ravello.
Google rating when checked: 4.4
Address: Via Fra Gerardo Sasso 8, 84010 Scala
Phone: +39 089 858290
Current status: Michelin-selected with current 2026 restaurant activity.
24. Da Nonno Alfonso
Ravello discovery · Exceptional rating volume · Local warmth
Da Nonno Alfonso is the small-name, large-consensus restaurant that a useful guide should uncover.
Its Google rating was 4.9 across roughly 1,260 reviews when checked: an unusually strong combination of score and volume. The restaurant offers local dishes, pizza and a more informal alternative to Ravello's hotel-centred dining culture.
This is not included as a "budget alternative". It earns its place because a great number of diners have reached the same positive conclusion.
What to order: Pizza, local pasta and the house's traditional dishes.
Best for: A warm local dinner, families, excellent public consensus and a break from hotel ceremony.
Google rating when checked: 4.9
Address: Viale Parco della Rimembranza 19, 84010 Ravello
Phone: +39 089 857701
Current status: Official information and current 2026 activity confirmed.
Minori, Maiori, Tramonti, Cetara and the eastern coast
The eastern side of the Amalfi Coast is too often treated as the road back to Salerno.
That is a mistake.
Minori and Maiori have established restaurants with deep local followings. Tramonti brings wine, agriculture and a completely different landscape. Cetara remains one of the clearest food destinations on the coast because fishing is not merely part of its history; it still structures the town's identity.
25. Giardiniello
Minori institution · Traditional menu · Longstanding reliability
Giardiniello has operated in Minori for decades and continues to serve the kind of menu people often imagine when planning an Amalfi Coast dinner.
Pasta, seafood, vegetables and pizza make it flexible, but the restaurant's longevity and large review volume keep it from feeling anonymous. It is particularly valuable for travellers staying in Minori who do not need to drive elsewhere to prove that they have eaten well.
What to order: Pasta, seafood and a traditional local dish selected according to the day.
Best for: Families, Minori-based travellers and a reliable traditional dinner.
Google rating when checked: 4.4
Address: Via Vittorio Emanuele 17, 84010 Minori
Phone: +39 089 877050
Current status: Official site and current operating information confirmed.
26. Torre Normanna
Historic tower · Maiori · Landmark restaurant
Torre Normanna turns the approach to Maiori into a destination.
The restaurant occupies a medieval coastal tower, giving it a physical identity that cannot be reproduced by another panoramic terrace. The location is dramatic, but the establishment's strong rating across a large number of reviews suggests the experience is not surviving on architecture alone.
It works particularly well as a long lunch or a dinner planned around the journey.
What to order: Seafood, the tasting route or a meal organised around the day's catch.
Best for: A landmark meal, special occasions and travellers based around Maiori.
Google rating when checked: 4.5
Address: Via Diego Taiani 4, 84010 Maiori
Phone: +39 089 877100
Current status: Official reservations and current 2026 operation confirmed.
27. Re Mauri
Michelin-starred · Eastern gateway · Modern seafood
Re Mauri sits at Lloyd's Baia Hotel on the eastern gateway between Vietri sul Mare and Salerno.
That geographic clarification matters: it is not a central Vietri restaurant reached casually on foot from the ceramics district. It is a destination positioned at the edge of the coast.
The restaurant holds a Michelin star and focuses on modern seafood-led cooking. It is most useful for travellers beginning or ending their journey on the eastern side, rather than those attempting a late return from Positano.
What to order: The tasting menu, with emphasis on seafood and the kitchen's contemporary interpretation of Campania.
Best for: A Michelin dinner near the eastern entrance to the coast, arrivals from Salerno and special occasions.
Google rating when checked: 4.5
Address: Lloyd's Baia Hotel, Via Benedetto Croce, Salerno-Vietri gateway
Phone: +39 089 7633686
Current status: Michelin-starred with an active official 2026 menu and hotel dining operation.
28. Agriturismo da Regina
Tramonti · Farm cooking · Leave the sea behind
Agriturismo da Regina is the countryside correction to an itinerary dominated by the water.
Located in Tramonti, it draws on local cheese, cured meats, vegetables, wine and grilled dishes. Whole-grain pizza and the area's agricultural traditions give the meal a completely different identity from a coastal seafood dinner.
The journey inland is part of the recommendation. Tramonti should not be squeezed between a beach afternoon and another reservation below.
What to order: Local cheese and charcuterie, whole-grain pizza, grilled meat and a glass of Concerto or local wine.
Best for: A rural dinner, families, wine travellers and anyone needing a break from seafood.
Google rating when checked: 4.5
Address: Via Vaccaro 90, 84010 Tramonti
Phone: +39 089 876007
Current status: Current summer 2026 operation and official food information confirmed.
29. Cetara Punto e Pasta
Handmade pasta · Cetara anchovies · Small and specific
Cetara Punto e Pasta does not attempt to represent the entire Amalfi Coast.
Its strength is specificity: handmade pasta, local fish and the anchovy culture of Cetara. That focus gives the restaurant more value than another broad menu designed to satisfy every possible visitor.
The current 2026 menu and operating information remain active, with lunch and dinner offered on most days.
What to order: Handmade pasta with anchovies or colatura di alici, followed by the freshest local fish.
Best for: Pasta, Cetara's fishing identity and travellers who prefer small, focused restaurants.
Google rating when checked: 4.5
Address: Corso Garibaldi 14, 84010 Cetara
Phone: +39 089 261109
Current status: Current 2026 menu and operating schedule confirmed.
30. La Dispensa di Armatore
Michelin Bib Gourmand · Fishermen's family · Cetara essential
La Dispensa di Armatore is one of the clearest expressions of Cetara on a plate.
Run by a family connected to fishing and preserving, the restaurant works with bluefin tuna, anchovies, squid and the products that have shaped the town's economy and reputation. Michelin currently awards it a Bib Gourmand, recognising a strong relationship between quality and value.
This is not simply a restaurant located in Cetara. The meal would lose much of its meaning elsewhere.
What to order: Bluefin tuna, anchovies, squid and the house spumone.
Best for: The most locally specific meal in Cetara, seafood preservation traditions and a food-focused eastern-coast detour.
Google rating when checked: 4.6
Address: Via Cantone 1, 84010 Cetara
Phone: +39 089 262034
Current status: Michelin Bib Gourmand with active July 2026 restaurant service.

Seven restaurants in the selection currently hold Michelin stars: Zass, Un Piano nel Cielo, Bluh Furore, Glicine, Sensi, La Caravella and Re Mauri.
La Taverna del Leone, Baccofurore, A' Paranza and Trattoria Da Lorenzo are Michelin-selected, while La Dispensa di Armatore holds a Bib Gourmand.
What are the best restaurants in Positano?
For a Michelin-starred destination dinner, choose Zass. For contemporary cooking, choose Casa Mele. Da Vincenzo is the broadly dependable classic, while Il Ritrovo and La Taverna del Leone justify leaving the centre. Da Adolfo belongs to a beach day rather than a conventional dinner itinerary.
Where should I book a beach lunch?
The three clearest options are Da Adolfo at Laurito, La Gavitella in Praiano and Zeffiro Sereno at Spiaggia La Vite. All three require more planning than an ordinary restaurant. Boat arrangements, weather and seasonal operations should be confirmed directly.
Where can I eat traditional local food?
Choose Agricola Fore Porta for farm produce above Amalfi, Da Nonno Alfonso for an informal Ravello dinner, Agriturismo da Regina for Tramonti, and Cetara Punto e Pasta or La Dispensa di Armatore for the fishing culture of Cetara.
Should I travel across the Amalfi Coast for dinner?
Only when the restaurant is the evening's principal destination.
The coast is vertical, traffic-sensitive and much slower than it appears on a map. A restaurant near the hotel is often a better decision than a slightly more famous table requiring a complicated return. Build one or two destination meals into the trip; do not turn every dinner into a transfer. Holiday.it applies the same principle when recommending where to stay and how to structure an Amalfi Coast itinerary.
Are Amalfi Coast restaurants open all year?
Some are, but many hotel restaurants, beach clubs and boat-access tables operate seasonally. Even restaurants with long seasons may change weekly closing days or reduce service outside July and August. Reconfirm directly before travelling.
